I searched for 'cabins in Jervis Bay' and what I The Bush and Bay Cottages are not cabins of course.

They're small free standing dwellings. The one I stayed in was airconditioned with a modern bathroom and spa. There was a kitchen with utensils and appliances, a coffee machine, and the doors and windows were well screened to keep out mozzies. The shower ran hot and the bed was very comfortable-- both at the top of my list when I review accommodation. I stayed from Sunday to Tuesday and it was very quiet.

I'm not sure if there were other guests however it felt like I had the place to myself. It is a unique set up: The dwellings are styled individually such as a shop or church or bank; and it leaves the property looking like a colonial town from yesteryear nestled in the forest. I am mindful that it won't suit everyone. There was a lovely entertaining patio near the lawns by reception which would This Woollamia wants to down been perfect for evening cheese or wine or breakfast but it's only used for 'pop up' events. You can request a breakfast hamper-- other than this there were no facilities.

Loved the back verandah - could have spent hours there. Breakfast was I'll be back!

It was clean, relaxing and nature was surrounding the location which was evident with wild animals such as kangaroos, visible depending on the times. We ordered bbq and breakfast packages The packages were great. Flo was also quite fast in solving problems when there was a problem at the cottage even at night, she sent someone to fix the problem. I would recommend others for this wonderful holiday spot for short or long stays. Great quiet location, well-appointed, comfortable cottages and friendly service.

We booked for an initial two-night stay, not sure quite what to expect.
